What application does one use to access pop email on ur mobiles?

Pop e-mail is a specific function that is only built into certain phones, and as far as i'm aware is not available for download as a Java application for Nokia's.

thanks for your reply.

I have actually downloaded a "emailviewr" application and when set up worked a treat.

But this was a demo version, only let me check mail once :-(

was this the email viewer from reqwireless.com ??
they charge $20 to register it. are there any better (or cheaper) email viewers available?

sue hav u used the email viewer to download hotmail email??
my 7210 has stopped being able to access the msn site properly and i noticed you've got a 7210.

hotmail is'nt a pop3 e-mail system, so it might not work.

AFAIK the reqwireless product claims to allow access to hotmail (i suppose the same way Outlook 6 can).

The easiest way to access your pop3 e-mail is to go to the corresponding wap site, if your client has one.

Yahoo! does for example. I use the free Orange address i got with my contract.

If you are unsure, use a wap emulator on the net to search for one. Who is your e-mail client?

I thought of that, but my email client is blueyonder and I cant get access to that on my mobile :(. Think i will buy the emailviewer and see how it goes.

for your info.

I went and brought the emailviewer by reqwireless.com and have found it to be very good when receiving/sending pop email.

I have yet to try it with hotmail tho as i don't have an account.

i had major problems with the email viewer when trying to download my hotmail :pissed:

but it was ok with other pop email accounts.
