View Full Version : unlocking keyguard code...
I have a Nokia 3410, i want to turn off the keyguard code.
I dont have the password, i can get around it but i want to disable it or reset it.
Would appreciate any help...

Keyguard code? No idea what your on about. The 3410 either has an automatic keyguard lock, so that the keys will lock after a certain period of not being used (for example 15 seconds) or you can lock them manually but thats about it.
when i apply the key lock, i need to then unlock the keypad,when i try and do this it asks for a code. This is set in the set up. if i try and unset this in the setup, it first asks for the code. I dont know the code and need to reset it.

Try the default security code, 12345, or look in the manual, thats what their for ;)
it was 12345 but it was changed and i cant get hold of new password,
thats why i want to reset it. is it possible

I dont honestly know. If it was that easy to reset it then there would be no point in putting a security code on there now would there?
