mp3 on lg u8138

hi,can any1 help me transfer music files from pc to the lgU8138.tried all normal methods thru usb but no luck.beginning to think mp3 cannott be copied.any ideas>thanks!

i had the LGU8120 and i transferred mp3's with the supplied cable using the drag and drop method with the supplied software without any problems. What software are you using?

software supplied with the phone,lg disc etc.how did u do the drag/drop?many thanks,paul

it was a fair while ago i had mine but if i remember correctly i just opened the software and used it like windows explorer......the correct folder was highlighted and i selected the mp3 from my drive and just dragged it, im pretty sure thats how i used to do it but bear in mind that i had the LGU8120 so i dont know if LG have updated the software since?

I had the same as Sarah did, and I am pretty sure I did it the same way.

But I did have probs getting the cable installed properly.

for once i had no probs at all with the cable....one of the only handsets ive had which i managed to connect with first time, i know a lot of people for some reason do have trouble with cables and software with the LG's, i had trouble myself with another model.

Is it the cable that came with the phone you are trying to use or have you bought another one?
