Nokia 3220 Fun shell Problem Help!!!!!!

Hey all!

Today i bought one of those Nokia 3220 Wave Messaging fun shells,
The shell seems to be working but when you put the chip into the phone and apply the shell when you turn the phone on it is supposed to download automatically software called cover browser.

Problem is it starts to download but it says downloading failed.
anybody know how to make it work?

When we did it at work, we plugged it in and said downloading for absolutely ages. I think they key is patience because it worked after about 10 to 15 minutes of downloading from the shell to the phone.

try unplugging it, turn the phone off, turn the phone on, let it settle (make sure its not doing anything), plug the shell in and wait. Repeat until it works. If it does'nt work, try and find your nearest Nokia repair centre at www.nokia.com and ask them to upgrade your phones software.

what is it about these fun shells? are they meant to spell words or something when you wave them in the air?

Thats the one bunny.

Good fun actually, they also allow you to draw mini pictures in the air as well as text, and it plays some cheesy MIDI music while you wave it heh.

Great for parties or clubs though ;)
