I would have thought that there will be quite a few appearing on eBay at grossly inflated prices...

I dont reckon it'll do hugely well, people who like to buy touch screen phones etc tend to go for the best ones, not the branded ones. i.e the most popular ones being the XDA/MDA/SPV range and the SE Pxxx range.

but is this not a more affordable version, which may appeal at the normal phone user?

I quite like the idea of touch screen, and it seems to have enough features to be a good little p.d.a without being super expensive, does it not?

Who told you its not going to be super expensive???

The Nokia 9500, Nokia's current rival to the P910i and XDA IIs, is around £600 sim free, and the 7710 is going to be ALOT more than that!

Since when you have you ever known a high end Nokia to be cheaper than its rivals?

ive heard some people saying that it is going to cost them £30 on contract having bought it for £200?

Not sure if this is true?

£200 on a £30 a month contract, its possible, but not likely on the highstreet. More than likely one of those crappy internet/magazine/newspaper/Phones4U deals.

yeah, but that shouldnt be a problem, id get it from one of those at that price!

Even then, I would never be temped enough (or daft enough) to EVER get a contract from Phones 4U or a newspaper/magazine.

e2save would be OK as they are part of CPW and they always have good deals on.

The Link - I would get a contract phone from them. Oh, I did!!!!!!!!!!

P4U - BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

But give it 6 months and it will be free on a £30/mth contract - you read it here first :slick:

There is a shop in Brighton that was advertising this for £339 SIM FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tempted to phone them up (not cos I want one, I think it's one ugly MF) but to see iif thats the right price.

Seen them on eBay going for well cheap amounts, like £250. I thought they would be much more than that.

Its Dial-a-phone, still would'nt go anywhere near it regardless of the price, plus its an 18 month contract!

slater_son

yeah i guess that is a slight problem, but i reckon you would want to use that phone for 18 months, especially after i had a play on it in Phone for u!
sweet!
