I've been playing on the PSP all yesterday, for the first time of course! (my sister got it from lik-sang.com). She's a gaming gurl but she's thinkin of giving it away to her boyfriend (is she nuts?!). But i'm well jealous that she's still got one b4 me (tramp). Though i'd wait till September- i'd be crazy to get it on import!

Course i'm an NFS addict and the PSP NFS is a wkd game! Graphics are nearly just as good as Playstation.

Took me a while to figure out how to upload mp3 tunes to it (eventually figured out that i had to format the memory stick). Uploaded pics and the quality is unbelievable! I have a few issues with MP3 playback, the speakers could be a little louder and the volume with the earphones could be a little louder too.

Maybe these issues will be fixed soon for wen i 'hopefully' get one in september this year . (Though i think i wanna get the Sony Ericsson K750i first! So many Sony products i wanna get! :s).

Anyone else had a fiddle with a PSP, what did ya think? (Does anyone else have one?)

P.S: I'm glad i didnt settle for the DS!

Below are some pictures taken with my K500i of course!

Nice, but I'd still much rather have my DS, much more fun :)

Yeh, DS is vry cool! My friend Jason has got one (Metroid Prime is wkd!). But i woz thinkin of getting an ipod, but instead i'm gonna buy the PSP to use as an MP3 player (even though it costs a lot more! :s). But it'll save me money from buying two things :D

Lol, it might save you a little bit of money, but it'll cost you a fortune in memory sticks to make it even 1GB. Considering that'll be £179 + £80 for 1GB card, thats more than an ipod by miles, and their the most expensive ones.

If it were me, I'd by an MP3 player anyway, I doubt a PSP can really be good enough for proper MP3 use.

I see ure point i guess...

But definately gonna get the PSP. I've been a Nintendo fan for years, got the NES, SNES, N64, Gameboy Color, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Advance SP :P. But Sony have managed to sway me towards their direction :D unfortunately!

To ajnokia, it costs £240 (including all charges) from lik-sang.com. But my sister is 100% certain that you can buy a PSP for £180 from a completely legit seller on Ebay. But if you buy one from Ebay make sure you buy a PSP from a UK seller (if you live in UK) so you don't have to pay shipping fee's and tax.

Just looked on ebay, PSP's are loadz cheaper and they are definately legit. You want to make sure you look for sellers who are selling PSP's in bulk who ship from Japan or Hong Kong as these are real sellers.

My sister paid £240 for a PSP from Lik-sang.com including the cost for a game.

nice !!! I got 2 PSP's the other day one for each of my brothers lol didn't even get one for me :p (older bro and younger bro). Its really cool. I was also thinking about getting an Ipod but PSP and a 1 gig memory card should do the trick! :d

Wow, talk about a gift. Most I've ever gotten from my brother was a CD, and only because it was my birthday.

I saw in 'Game' that they are being released in the UK on 1st September. They were asking for a £20 deposit to get in the queue but there was no mention of what the actual price is going to be.

Dylan has already decided that he wants one.. to go with all the other games consoles he's already got

Although I've seen some online stores starting to say they'll do it for £149.99, prolly on import I reckon.

Either way seems hidiously expensive if you ask me ;)

I can confirm that she's given the PSP away to her boyfriend! (crazy girl...)

But yeh, £179.99 and it's released on the 1st September 2005. Anyone heard of the three next generation consoles from the main competitors in the market- Sony's PS3, Microsoft's XBOX 360 and Nintendo's 'Revolution'? Which one wud u most likely buy? (U shud go to gamespot.com and watch the E3 Expo conference for each- to give u an idea of what these consoles will bring...).

I still havent got a clue as to which one to buy- if any!

@ajnokia ..

I ordered 5 from lik-sang ..

5 Sony PSP Value Pack (For Sony PSP™) $1,399.50 (~764.75 GBP)
Sub Total $1,399.50 (~764.75 GBP)
Shipping Cost (UPS) $62.00 (~33.88 GBP)
Grand Total $1,461.50 (~798.63 GBP)

Then UPS ask £145 (£134 import tax + £11 broker fees) when they knock on your door, but as i say thats for 5 so you're talking about £40 on 1 PSP

Thats got all the info of all three next gen consoles plus the Gameboy Micro.

I'm prolly going to get the XBox 360 and Nintendo Revolution at some point in the next three years or so, but I will NEVER, EVER allow a PS3 in this house while I'm still living here! :)

Do that and I can't be held responsible for my action, I simply CANNOT stand Sony what so ever.
