I have the belkin software with my dongle and all you have to do is pair the new handset up again with the bluetooth software (even tho its the same model phone) then remove the original 6230 so you dont get confused.

if you go to your control panel -> system -> Hardware -> device manager

If you see microsoft AND belkin bluetooth drivers they will conflict (windows xp usually sticks its nose in and installs its drivers)

If this is the case right click on one of them and choose update driver and tell it you want to choose the drivers yourself and pick the belkin drivers (it should say the driver has not been signed by microsoft but this is ok)

I had the same problem with mine, windows installs its drivers when you first plug it in ;) but if this isnt the case let us know ;)

Thanks for your reply i have updated the driver and the device is paired properly but when i right click on images scroll down to send to select my nokia 6230 everything is perfect to this point it looks as if its sending it but nothing arrives at my phone. Is there a simple way that i can check i havent done something wrong in the setup because when i click view devices in range it picks my nokia 6230 up, i've also paired it up ok with a passkey the first time i installed the soft ware. Do i have to install nokia pc suite for this device to work, i'm sure i didn't with my old dongle i'm currently using F8T008/F8T009 I know its something small but cant put my finger on it . The device is working fine with my nephews phone (samsung d 500) so that tells me the dongle is fine cheers George
