looking at getting the new nokia 8800 ,

just looking for your thoughts really and what you all think!

does seem to be very expensive and wonder if anyone has experience of it .

It looks very expensive, and I think it is going to be as well. Wouldn't have thought you would get it much cheaper than £500 simfree and it won't be free on a £30 a month contract. Very much the 'hey look at me I have loads of cash' phone.

It is the replacement for the Nokia 8910i.

Unbelievably expensive for what it is. Have a look at the 6230i for the same features and more with a much cheaper price, or the Motorola RAZR V3 in silver or black for something with a similar wow factor, similar features, but a cheaper price.

Or wait for the V8 SLVR which is the same thing but a non-flip version thats smaller, black, and has a memory card slot.
