So who has been watching this then?
I have had it on all day today and think that it's been brill. And if it makes all the well off countries do more to help the ones that are way way less well off then it's been well worth it.
At one point there was Bob Geldof on the stage with an Ethipoian girl whose picture was flashed all around the world in 1984 when the Ethiopian famine was in full swing. She was minutes away from death then, to look at her now.. well I am not ashamed to say it bought tears to my eyes. We helped then and we can do it again!!!!!!!!
I saw that too...very sad :(
i have been sat here most of the day waiting for velvet revolver to come on because some daft idiot (Ian) told me Axl Rose was in the group........and hes not :( not a happy bunny.
He's in........ I can't remember right now.....so you're a unhappy bunny. Awwwwww
And who are velvet revolver?????? Thats a new one on me....
Axl Rose was in Guns n Roses :) velvet revolver is made up of three former members of guns n roses....and Ian told me Axl was one of those members.....but he was wrong lol.
Who have you thought has been any good? so far there is nobody that im into, but Queen are meant to be on later, if you can still call them Queen without Freddy :( should be interesting.
I thought the Scissor Sisters were quite good, Madonna was good and Snoop Doggy Dog was, how shall I say, interesting ....and hearing Bob Geldof singing made me feel old (though he didn't sound too hot).
The scissor sisters were awful! mind you its the first time i have listened to them .....snoop doggy dog i wouldnt listen to out of principle (cant stand the man). Robbie williams was good even though i dont like him either.......bit dissapointed Ozzy didnt do anything :( George Michael is on in a bit though :) i used to lurvve george, still like him loads i think his music improves the older he gets :)
Its a terrible shame Freddie isnt still around this time :( he would have been great :)

You are so right there....a rousing rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody would have bought the place down.
I watched the beginning late last night, as i missed it but Ian taped it and i saw U2......i thought they were fantastic, for me they were the best of all the acts :)

I thought Scissor Sisters were excellent, their always really good live.
And Kaiser Cheifs (my current favourite band) were playing in the US and went down really well, proper English type band playing in the states might seem weird but they understood it well ;)
