6230 signal at home - external antenna????

I have a 6230 on Orange contract. My signal is very poor in my house (have been told its because its stone built and GSM wavelength doesn't go through very well).

I have to hang out of my (first floor) window to get a reliable signal. :whacky:

Is it possible to fit some sort of external antenna? If so what? Any ideas or other solutions (other than quitting Orange) gratefully received.

The phone is capable of having an external arial fitted, but you'd need to call Nokia directly to get one, its not something you can just 'buy' from the high street.

many thanks James, I'll try that. Looked at their site and could see adapters but they seem to require car holders, will call them
