If you go to France for example, you always get a choice of provider, but which one is the cheapest? Does anyone know? Or do we need to check locally?

your not supposed to have a choice, your supposed to pick the one thats relevant to your network. Check with your network to see which one you should use in which country.

In fact, you can choose any operator that comes up on oyur phone when you do a manual network search. UK networks can't afford to have deals with networks in every country in the world.

They may recommend one to you, but you should ask them the up to date prices and go with the one that will work out cheaper for the type of calling you will be doing, ie to or form abroad, and or texts.
