nokia 7210 mobi problems

When using mobi browser to download ringtones games wallpaper off a cd i bought it seems as though the connection fails and the download just stops. I am using a serial port connection data lead. Please help.

id get a infared adapter for it if i were you, i used to use data cables for my older phones as they didnt have the infared function and was always having probs with em :)

serial ports are always a pain in the arse to use.
Yes they might be cheaper, but a USB data cable would solve the problem so much faster. IrDa adapters are good, but if you can get a USB cable it much easier to get working.
Both me and Nick can vouch for just how hard using IrDA ports can be :)

had no probs with mine worked fine from day one, its ace cause if the fones have got infared theres no need to buy different cables for each phone as like before we all had different phones and had to buy cables for each of them, now its easy with infared
