Are you on the o2 'online' tariff??

They offer 300 free WAP minutes per month but I don't think their ordinary tariff offers it.

BTW With the 7210 and T68i, if you are on the 'online' tariff, get the simcard 'GPRS enabled' and you can get FREE GPRS WAP until 31/1/04.

31/12/03 you mean Nick, the end of the year. Or at least I thought thats what you said...

I think its the GPRS that is free at the moment and not WAP

It's the GPRS that is free on o2 'online' till 31.1.04

so it must be standard o2 pay & go GPRS thats free until 31/12/03 then.
and yes bunnyone, it's GPRS not WAP, WAP is free on o2 for the first 30 days of use, then it costs standard rate of 10p/min.

hi all
no were not on o2 online.....

myself and my wifes sims are both gprs enabled and i did phone about my daughters her sim is newer than ours and thought it may be gprs enabled already, but anyway spent about 1 hour on the phone to o2 he was trying to give me the settings over the phone, but it just wouldnt connect to the setting he gave me, so he said hed send them but my daughter said she never recieved anything, but it does connect to the setting already on the phone but it still costs her money to connect.
so do you think it still needs to be gprs enabled then?

thanks again guys

Goofy go to
www.o2.co.uk
and on the left hand side of the page there is a wap link to download the settings via text, just save the settings and you should be up and running

If that doesn't work, go to www.nokia.co.uk and you can get the settings from there.

from what i've heard and seen in experiance, the Nokia one is more likley to get the settings for you than the o2 one, which takes forever to come through, if at all.
