I like this phone quite a bit. I live in DC and got the 426 with AT&T almost 2 months ago. It has dropped a few calls here and there, but every cell phone/provider I have ever used loses calls once and a while. My only complaint is the ring tones. Like many others I do not want a cat, horse or even a musical theme to alert me of an incoming call. I want a ring tone that actually just rings and nothing else. The “Pure” ring tone that comes with the phone isn’t too bad… it kind of jingles along and doesn’t raise too many eyebrows. The billing from AT&T is concise. The phone itself is very easy to use and the battery life is more than adequate for my needs, needing to be fully charged every three days. On the earpiece I keep the volume at three (out of five) except, for example when I’m walking next to a road and there is heavy traffic. When speaking people say that I sound fine to them, not harsh or too loud. All in all, this phone isn’t half bad. I wanted a phone that made and received calls, period. That’s what I got.
