Why have they blocked my Phone?

I had an 8310 on contract for a year last year (o2). And i decided to upgrade my phone to a 6100(o2). I originally bought my 8310 from the link but they allowed me to keep the 8310 model because it was now mine after the year. I gave it to my sister and gave her a pay as you go sim (also o2) to put in it. This worked fine for the first few days but now it says sim card blocked.

Does anybody know why they have blocked my sim card or how i can get it unblocked?

in 90% of cases, what this means is she's put the puk code in wrong 10 times. And the puk code only usually appears if you put the pin code in wrong 3 times. Ask her if she's done anything like that. If she like 10 or 12 or something, she might deny it thinking she's done something wrong (they do that for some reason....) just explain to her that you need to know the truth or you cant do anything about it. If that is the case, then your sim card is totaly buggered and you'll need to buy a new one.
Note: this has nothing to do with the phone it self and not The Links fault before you choose to go in there and complain to them, thats the last thing we want...

Thanks for my reply. Yes my sister denies all but i now know that she has obv entered the pin wrong 3 times then thought the PUK was the pin and kept trying. However my sister is...wait for it...25 everywhere iv posted this problem has suggested that my sister would deny all. People know all too well;)
