I have seen this phone and am quite impressed by its looks.

What do you reckon to it? Cos I'm :pissed: off with my 6100 now, and wonder why I ever got it.

Someone has offered me £130 for my 6100 so would have a similar amount to spend on a replacement.

Whatever I get has to be able to be easily unlocked so I can use my o2 simcard in it.

Any ideas???

It's not often a mod asks for help, but can't think for all the s*** clogging my brain!!

the MC60 is alright, but nothing special. It's designed to be a cheap and simple pay and go camera phone.
I reckon you can do better for your 6100, it's quite a sought after phone so in the Free Ads you could probably get close to £170 for it if it's not too old, in perfect condition and has all the orignal parts with it, including box and manual etc.
You might get less, but i'd say either £170 or £160 is a good starting price.
If it's a decent sim-free phone your after, or even a pay and go, you can get the T610 for about under £160 online, i have'nt checked the prices recently.
Theres also the amazing Samsung E700 if your willing to put some extra cash into it.

I think that you better keep your Nokia and wait for a new se or for a lower price for the samsung E700. The mc60 is not that special.

the MC60 has got a nice design (but i don't like it) and the screen is normal for what it is 4096colors, but when you use the cam the screen is more like a sepia color, all brouwn and dark. how about a T610 thats a good phone.
your nokia is better then that siemens believe me. i think any nokia is better then siemens

Cheers for the comments guys.

I had a look at the MC60 yesterday and although I like its looks, bart was right about the camera. So for now, I am keeping my 6100 (unless I can find someone mad enough to swap their T610 for it).

Come on bart, you interested???

or, like i said, sell your phone for about £150-£160 and then buy a T610 for a little bit more than that :)

I wish....

Had a look on Ebay, going price for the 6100 is about £130ish, but there are T610's on there for similar prices.

Found someone dumb enough to buy my 6100 (£140).

Read some reviews on the MC60 and all of them panned the phone, saying the camera was crap (bart, you were right), the tones were crap, etc.

Ok, you don't expect a lot for £90 but I'm not getting one of those.

Looking at a used 3650 or T610 off Ebay (but would have to be very careful I didn't get a dodgy one). Unless anyone else knows a good'un for £140.

it depends, if you want a smart phone and don't send alot of SMS go for the 3650. if you want a good ordenary phone, go for the T610

or, having spent the day in town looking for a phone for that price range (for Dale actually) then I might recommend having a look at the new Motorola V300, the new Sagem MYV-X65 (bascily a better looking version of the my-X6 with a sharper screen or maybe even the Motorola E365 with large screen & built in camera. I cant comment much on the two Moto's because i have'nt tried either yet, so try before you buy, but the 3650 and T610 are better, just be carefull especially with the 3650.

PS.

Remember it will be locked to Orange and be full of orange software.

Normally costs £25 to get the software reflashed and unlocked.

Best regards

not bad, excellent price, but Orange do that alot on their website. it's their sort of 'once it's gone it's gone' type offers. They had the Sagem My-X6 for £99.99 for a while.
I'll be sure to point Dale and several others in the direction of the url tho, thanks bazza :)

Even Though The MC60 Does Look pretty Cool! It Does HAve It's Downside You Can Only Get It On T-Mobile!
And The Colour & Cameras Quality is Very Poor & And Blurry!
I would'nt recommend It!
No wonder it's one of the cheapest integraed camera phones
