Hi all

I am looking into gettin a new contract phone and have narrowed it down to these two, just wandering if some people could give their opinions about which is best (and any possbile faults).

ok, well i'm not too familiar with the X1 yet, seeing as it's barely been released and we don't have it in store yet. From what I've read it's supposed to be quite good, if not fairly standard amougst camera phones now (65k screen, poly-tones, rotating camera, sound familiar?).
However, the 6800 is'nt really a worthy comparison, as it's in a different league really seeing as it's only got a 4k screen and weak poly tones, it's got very little to offer except for the keyboard, which makes the units overal size a little bigger than what it could have been. Think 7210 with a folding QWERTY keyboard..
If your looking at a contract phone why not have a good look at the Sony Ericsson T610 or the Samsung E700, both of which are excellent phones in their own rights and are more comparable to the X1 than the 6800. Even if you see the pics once and think "eurgh god thats horrible" then don't judge a book by it's cover. If vanity is the most important thing to you then fine, pick the more expensive but least featured handset, like the 7250i.
