I appologize in advance for what may seem like a really dumb question. So far I have not had any response from any other forum.

I am completly lost on this whole WAP thing. But I thought it would be fun to figure out and try. Well I have tried searching the internet for ANY info on how to set my phone up to do this... NOTHING ! I must not be putting the right words into the search bar or something. I have been going through several different cell phone forums too and still can't find it . I know it's out there somewhere. Could someone help ? I need step by step instructions I'm afraid as I have been through the settings on my phone for 3 days now and I am obviously doing something wrong. I know that Verizon has some sort of Express Network and if you set it up right it only uses your minutes. Hey that would be awesome if I could figure out HOW to set it up and what stuff to type in the differnt menus ......I have an Audiovox CDM 9000 .....I know it's a lot to ask as I am sure it would take quite a bit to type it all out, If anyone knows of a site with instructions they could direct me to I would be really greatful. I'm pretty good with computers but this cell phone wap thing has me totally stumped. You could also e-mail me ........Thanks so much

the problem is, this forum is primarily European based, so even I would'nt have a clue how to solve you problem.
Have you tried calling Verizon and asking them how to do it? Most phones are supposed to come with the settings already in them, but obviously this seems to be a different case in the U.S.
Also, if you do find the right information but not sure if your putting it in the right places in your phone, try reading the Audiovox manual (I've never seen or barely heard of an Audiovox phone, so I'm out on a limb here) to see what coresponds to what.

Thanks so much for the reply. I am real happy with the phone. I just thought it would be fun to figure out the WAP thing. I will keep searching and playing around with the settings and maybe I will stumble upon it.

Thanks again

Hey !
I did finally figure out how to use WAP :big smile

And now I have gone on a cell phone spree and bought two more
the Kyocera 2325 and the 2235 .........Nice phones. The Audiovox is a really nice phone but a bit bigger than what I was used to.
