I am thinking of purchasing the K800i Pay As You Go package that comes with an orange sim card.

However, i already have an outstanding contract with vodafone that i'd like to use with the K800i, i realise i will have to take out the SIM from my old phone and put it in the K800i...

However, what i do not know is whether the phone will accept this network(will it be unlocked to the vodafone network automatically?) and also will i be able to get all the vodafone service i want (such as 3G compatibility and vodafone live?)

Thanks in advance,
any help will be much appreciated,
Blake.

i would take an educated guess this phone will be loacked to orange, meaning it wont accept your voda sim. you could get it and get it *ahem* unlocked, althought this will void your warrenty, ruin you phone if you get some halfwit who gets it wrong to do it, and it is highly likely that your 3g, mms and wap features wont work with your voda sim.
your best bet is to shop around for a sim free or voda branded one. if you really want to keep your current contract and get a better phone then mabey a sim free would be worth the investment?
hope this helps!
