Advice needed to new member please

I have been called on my mobile today which is a Moto Razr V6 accused of thretening a 14yr old girl who was using a friends phone,am told my number is on the phone for two calls last night, both at times when i was fast asleep, my phone was switched on and in me and my wifes bedroom, i have checked the call log and all my calls are still there, no calls were made from my phone. Is it possible someway that someone could have morphed my number with some computer or something, they can copy credit cards thease days, can they copy sim cards, i have an inclination of who would do this as i have an enemy <koffs> as we all do, or could someone phone 02 and ask for a duplicate sim........

to be honest i would ask to see some proof of this. if you have a contract call your network and ask for a copy of your bill to be sent asap, this would show if you had indeed called the number and when. even if your on pay as you go, it would still be worth speaking to your network to see if any calls have gone from your mobile to theirs. if the person who called and accused you of this doesnt have any proof eg call register on their phone showing your number with times and dates, then theres nothing they can do. to be honest its probly some total oxygen theif trying to wind you up. you say you have an enemy, he's probly just got one of his mates to ring and wind u up.
if this is the case, get revenge.
if they ring again, tell them you were concerned about the accusations incase someone has been using your phone without your knowledge and have informed the mobile network and also the police giving your mobile and theirs. if its a wind up they'll soon bottle it and run off to hide at mummys house. even 'hard' people brick it when they hear the 'p' word.

they have been able to copy phone details for years!! i know they used to use a scanner to nick your mobile phone details, then they can clone your phone number. it sounds like this is what they done to you.. you should be able to report this to your mobile phone company & get a new simm with your old number & address book.
