I disagree.
Texts are 10p, and I buy a bulk of 120 for £8 (6.6p).
GPRS is cheap, and I'm on a X-net tariff; 200 mins for £30.
I have no reason to leave Orange. The only thinkg I don't like is the poor deal that appears to be on handsets.
I've been with Orange for 3 years and have spent over £50 per month for the last year, and I won't be impressed if they don't give me a good deal when i upgrade next month.
Who do you think is good then?

I agree, Orange have some great deals. I get 200 minutes, anytime, any network for £30 (which should go down to £18/month in 3 months time when I can apply my staff tariff discount :) ) per month, plus they've given me (deep breath):
-2000 texts for the next 6 months (about 333.3 per month)
-150 photo messages for this month
-1 months free Orange Access (£4/month thereafter, but I get 3MB of GPRS, 20 texts and 10 photo messages for that)
-£10 off in their January sale
-50% off any Bluetooth headset (their cheapest is £50, so I'll get it for £25! try and beat that!)
-A free musical bouncy ball (that plays annoying Christmas songs in a really high pitch when you drop it from like 6 feet in the air)
-A 'Christmas Survival Kit' (lavender oil, an orange gel eye mask and some ear plugs)
-A photo snow dome (so i can put my own photo in it)
And that does'nt even inlcude everything I got with the phone!
Now, if you can think of a better deal, feel free to tell us about it ;)

Nice one on the new phone, man.
I have the Jabra BT200 headset. Come to think of it, that may be the one you have seen for £50. Its cool, the earpiece goes in your ear, so you can hear better than any other set, and it has been in the top ten gadgets of 2003, always a good thing.
All its cracked up to be then??? The old E200?

god yes :)
I'm just about to post my opinions of it in the 'Other Mobile Manufacturer' forum.
and it was the Jabra BT200, which I've seen, handled and recommended to customers, not just due to it's price but it's ease of use and the sheer robustness compared to the Plantronics and Nokia headsets.

Damn right.
I chuck it in my bag everyday and it's fine. Only 2 hours to charge, and it keeps going for three days including calls.
My advice would be to get either the new BT200 with 3.5mm jack, or the BT250, which is the same, but black. Neither are too different, so if it's juct the BT200 thats cheaper, well worth every penny; esp if your work are doing it for 50% off!!!

The Link are'nt doing it for 50% off, nowhere is just on it's own. Most high street shops are doing it for £50 or there abouts.
But when I bought my E200, from the Orange shop in town, they gave me a bunch of vouchers for use in their store, including 50% off any Bluetooth headset and £10 off in their January sale (i can't use them together tho).
So, I might be using the rest of my birthday money to buy one for £25 from the Orange shop :)

no - if you get a contract u get free 120 texts a month and 200 free minutes - and all the calls cheaper are than equivalent mobile to mobile and mobile to landline costs of o2, voda etc based on an anytime to :to: anynetwork
