Daedalus, what are the prices of BT headsets at your place???
I am thinking of getting one for my T610 if the prices are right.
I looked at the website but isn't that internet only?? The cheapest one there is £50 and that's way too much. And I couldn't see anything about ordinary hands free kits either....
Cheers mate.

Got a Plantronics M3000 BT device. Well impressed by the size of it, not so much by the price. But it was half price anyway so not too worried.

£50 is good for a BT headset! How much you wanna pay for a state of the art headset nowadays.
How about £25? Thats all it cost. Off a mate who had only opened the box and didn't like it.

It is secondhand.... in a way. Mate buys headset, opens box, looks at it, doesn't like it, sells it to me. Like brand new but not brand new.
I agree it's not an option for everyone especs. State of the art doesn't come cheap!!!! And if it is cheap, you should be suspicious.
To be honest, a normal hands free kit would probably have sufficed (Full kit with holder, in car charger and hands free for £19.99 in the Daedalus' phone shop chain) but it will be interesting to see how the BT compares to normal hands free which I was used to. Will see whether its all it said to be.
Will let you know when I've used it in anger.

well, I might be getting one from the Orange shop for £25 with my '50% off any Bluetooth headset' voucher they gave me :big grin:
but theecspec's right, £50 is about the cheapest you'll get one new without a special offer on the high street, they are very complex and expensive pieces of technology, not just a little speaker and microphone like the normal headsets.
Good news on the price you got, we've just cut the price to £50 for that, but £25 sounds like a good deal, although it is second hand. And what kind of person buys something that expensive, opens it, decides they dont like it and then sells it on for half price? Was he mad? :) He could have taken it back with his reciept and gotten his money back. Then again, it means you would'nt have gotten your headset, so....oh i'll shut up now :)
Looking on various sites and in shops, you are right in saying that £50 is cheap for such a piece of technology.
Right place at the right time......... And a dippy mate too......
