which phone

Hello everyone, I want a new phone, could you give me some advice on which one to get, I like games, music and a camera would be a bonus. Ive narrowed it down to these:-
N-gage
NOKIA 3650
SonyEricsson T610
If you could tell me any other phones I should consider i would apriciate it.
Also do know of any decent oline shops to purchase from I live in the UK

the Ncage is an excellent gaming fone, infact it really looks 2 much like a gameboy advance for me. Personally i wudnt buy it because it wudnt suit my sleek cool image lol, bt if u want games that fone is a must

well you can scrap the N-Gage off your list for a start. It's games are too fiddely to change, are very expensive to buy for what they are and for how much you pay it's just not worth it.
The 3650 has almost been discontinued, so any stock the shops have left is just old stock (Nokia are trying to replace it with the 6600), trust me on this one, I work in a phone shop and we have'nt had any new ones in several months. Plus, that keypad design would probably make you go mad soon enough.

I'd say the T610 is hands down the best phone on the whole list. It can play some great games, has an excellent built in camera, with a screen that kicks both the Nokia's ass :)
The only problem is, the lack of music. However, you can either buy the Bluetooth MP3 player headset for it (it's pretty expensive tho, if you can find one it'll set you back about £150 or more) or you could just buy a normal MP3 player for around £50 or so and use it seperatley.

I, like you, was after the ideal multi-function device, and I wanted something that played music, had a built in camera and would let me play games occasionally. I ended up with the Orange SPV e200, but if your not going onto a contract, it's expected to be about £280 on pay and go at the end of the year, which is alot more than the T610 (which, funnily enough is cheaper than both the 3650 and the N-Gage by at least £50. you can get one from Orange's website for £149.99 on pay and go).

So yes, I'd say the T610 is definetley the best one out of the three you've picked, or maybe the SPV E200 if you've got a bit more to spend :)

i agree with daedalus, the T610 is the best phone in that list. its cheaper then rest and its a hell of a good phone :)

i agree that the n gage is ok for games, but i still dont think theres much point getting it, i mean if u wann dload mp3s to it, u'll need to get the memory card thing coz u only get like 3 megs memorey or suming like that. theres not much of a variety of games for it either at the moment and the whole things fiddly andway with a midget screen. but its upto u really...

multimedia? hardly

so it has games? almost all phones on the market today have downloadable games anyway. And they ARE as good graphics wise, people on the 'net have managed to hack N-Gage games to work on any Series-60 based handset (Nokia 7650/3650/6600, Siemens SX1 and a couple of others), so its no longer unique.

so it has mp3? so do several other phones of higher quality (6600[with additional software], Siemens SX1, Orange SPV e200, O2 XDAII, most Sony Ericssons[with add on] ).

so it has a radio? er, hello, most of Nokias budget phones have had radios for a while now.

I would'nt call it a multimedia centre, just a handheld console with a few tricks. It does'nt even have a camera for gods sake, and you can't plug one into it.

..wot about the samsungs liek s300 and equivalent one with camera (cant remeber the model no.) - they are easy 2 use and good graphics not to mention small enough 2 put in ure pocket ;o)

I'd say the T610, too. Mainly because of how established and reliable Sony is, even though they tend to be on the more expensive side of things.

I was even thinking about getting a T610, too!

If you want games get a PS2!! Seriously though I think out of your choices I'd go for the T610, it's got a bit of everything at a reasonable standard

i have used T616 and 3650, the T616 is a nice and slim phone, Ok resolution but the only thing i didn't like about sonyericsson phone is that they have a slow processor, they are slow, i'd suggest u to stick with Nokia phones they r easier to function and cost wise cheaper..

If the Ngage's mp3 player is anything like the 3300 i would avoid it and buy a seperate mp3 player.
The quality of music playback is not good and the included memory card does not hold a lot of music.
The sound quality is not too good it sounds very tinny and the connector for the headphones on mine crackles quite a bit :bo:
