Just thought mention this great add-on, (did a search and it didnt show up).

I found out about it through www.boards.ie(Im in Ireland).

Cost me €38(£26.45) delivered off www.mobilefun.co.uk .
And I have to say im well impressed with it.
It is less than half the length of the phone again, and about 1/3 as thick and weighs nothing. It plugs into the bottom of the phone. it is not a player as such, but actually a mini card reader(uses MMC cards).
The player is actually built into the T610 Software(and apparently all Ericssons since T28).

There is amazing sound(both level and quality) off it for something so cheap. And you can adjust Bass and Treble.

Only faults:
-The included 32mb card is a joke. I have a 256mb card ordered for €86 off www.shop4memory.com . (This is not really a fault though I suppose)
-You cant use the other functions in the phone when using it. I would like to be able to use WAP or write SMS or possibly play games when listening to it. If a call comes in, it pauses automatically and lets you answer. If an SMS comes in, you can read it and reply to it without stopping the music, but once you hit SEND, it goes back to the track name. I read there was a trick on early versions of T68 Software to get back into the menu, but I tried it on my phone and it doesnt work.
-Incuded reader/writer is Parralell port operated and so, fairly slow.

I have ordered a 256mb card and a USB 2 6-in-1 card reader for a total cost of €119 off www.shop4memory.com.

In total this will have cost me €157 - I have looked around, and I can find a normal MP3 player with 256mb memory for about €140 - so all in all I think this is a very good deal - its smaller than most MP3 players, powers off the phone, and is expandable as its card storage.

- it doesn't support MMC cards larger than 128 MB
- there's a little trick for that, but it seems not to work with the latest  T610 firmware..

it's a good thing you bought a USB card reader, i did the same after buying my HPM-10.

have fun with it :)

Yes, it does support cards larger than 128mb. I had to change the first 256mb card I got as it wasnt compatable, but the one I have now functions fine. If your looking for a cheap one - i got mine at www.shop4memory.com , for €86 though luckily they are based in Ireland and not to far from me so It made it simpler to exhcange it when the first one wasnt compatable. Ive since found www.mymemory.co.uk where they are as little as ~€70 , but I would email them first to check their exchange policy incase the one you get is not compatable.

I enquired at SE.com and was told that they never tested it with larger than 64mb.

I was told of that trick, tried it, but it just shuts off the player and goes to the main screen.

And yes, the USB reader/writer is useful, though, even with it, it takes 10-20mins to fill the 256mb card.... gona have to get myself a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card as the reader/writer is USB2.0 but works with 1.1 .
