i went for O2, simply because i'm not best please with Orange right now. I applied for their Online Account Access on their website, and they said they'd send me a letter in 5-10 days with an authorisation code, and sure enough they did. But thats when it alll started. 4 days after I got the letter I went to the website to enter the code. I put in my account number and then the auth code and it said it was wrong and I had 2 attempts remaining. So i put it in EXACTLY right 2 more times and it blocked my access, saying I'd have to call Orange Internet Services from my phone to have the restriction lifted.... AT 50P a MINUTE! of my own money, for something that was their fault!!!
And then, the next day i got another letter, just the same as the first but with a different code. And then again a couple of days later and a FOURTH time a couple of days after that! Other than that, and the lack of GPRS or MMS for the first 2 1/2 weeks their ok, but O2 are much faster and more reliable in my eyes.
o2 for me.
Bloody useless at answering e-mails etc. but other than that I have never had any problem with them.
orange is too expensive i prefer o2 with the 300 free txts tariff

O2 is getting 75% of the vote up to now and have to say i agree lol probably cause i`ve never used any other network :suprise: but there offers seem very good to me (espcially the online tariffs) although there customers service is c**p,seems to be hard to get a service provider with a good customers service nowa days :conf:

I've found that the account side of the Orange website is quite poor. They must have unreliable/too small servers because every week I find I cannot either check my Orange e-mail or send an Orange text message online and just recently I haven't been able to access my account for my new Orange phone on a contract. It says I have to phone customer services, which is free if your on a contract (dial 150 from your handset) but.... after I did that the guy's like, "um....gee I dunno, I'd suggest you call the Orange Internet Technical Support." which costs...no idea how much but I'm not gonna do that. I e-mailed them instead. They usually get back to me within 48 hours.
Heck, at least the guy was a Brit, right?

Oh and I'm guessing you put 'Other' on the poll because Virgin, BT and 3G are all crap and are better off grouping together? :sot:

I voted for O2 and I swear I must be the only person not to have had hassle with O2
