Is thera only one unlock code for a nokia dct-4?

Last month i unlocked my brother's nokia 7250i.

For that, i ask for the code to three sites that offered the codes for free.

By the way, i dis that (3 sites) becaus he was trying several codes that didn't work and i had only one try.


Well the question is why the codes of three diferent sites are different?

Are there more than one code for one phone?

With DCT4, seven codes are generated.

Normally code 7 is the recommended code and if that does not work then code 1 is the one to use. When I had a 6100 I used code 1 not code 7.

However some networks (for example Vodafone Sweden) are different. A DCT4 phone on that network requires code 4 then code 1.
And AT&T in the USA uses code 1.

So it varies but you should always use the code that the calc recommends. How they came up with 3 different codes I'll never know. The DCT4 program I use has a 100% sccess rate for unlocking. A wrong code has never been generated and the recommended code has always been the right one. :party:
