hi,
was playing about with software menu,and found another one, "personalise" It comes up with network unlock options,where you need to put in an 8 digit NCK code,can anyone tell me if this will actually unlock the phone and do you know where i can get this code?

How did you find that?

Maybe it is for an unlock code but I wouldn't try anything unless you're totally sure, otherwise you will bugger up your phone.

Bart might have an idea when he comes online...

Never knew that one...

It's the locks (SP code, network locks, etc.) I wouldn't play about with that if I was you...

the 5 that is beside the padlock is the number of attempts to input number..i have 2 t610's,one faulty,so it doesn't really matter if i bust it,both on voda payt,would just like to be able to put another sim in phone.

You can unlock the phone, however you need to purchase a T28 Service Cable, and a Login to a company who has a server to read the unlock codes from the phone. I purchase my T610 from Ebay and it was locked to Orange UK. I unlocked it and now use it on Meteor Ireland and O2 Ireland.

It will cost you approx €30-40 tho for cable and log.
