E700: is it any good?

I was wondering if its a wise buy, what else can I choose?
Don't know Samsung very well but this Phone seems quite good!
was going to buy a SE T610, but it's completly out of stock in my country!!! :shout:
guess I'll have to hang with my nokia 5210 wich has'nt colour screen :bo:
Are there some "Apps" avaliable?

The E700 is a pretty excellent phone, and it seems like Samsung have hit the nail on the head (apart from the lack of Bluetooth). A full colour TFT display, a VGA camera (max. 640x480 resolution), Java (i think...), an 256-colour organic external screen (that displays some very groovy clock animations), multi-shot function (allowing to take lots of pictures one after the other) and an external camera button, so you can take pictures of yourself using the external screen.
I've used it several times, and its like a dream, both on looks and features :)
A worthy buy if you ask me.

I've got a Samsung e700 and its excellent. All the features are really cool, and even though it hasnt got bluetooth its still a really fun phone to use with loads of downloadables, java, wap GPRS, 40 poloyothonic plus more sounds and a excellent camera, its really good.

I think its probably the best Samsung there is at the moment.

I know what you mean about it being out of stock I got mine on orange on tuesday but it was the only one in the north east of England!!

I love mine, I am usually a Nokia buyer so I was a bit worried getting this phone and not liking it but I LOVE it!! Its easy to use and the menus are set out great!

The camera is far better than any of the Nokia cameras and overall the phone is great go out and buy it if there in stock that is!! :)

I don't know which phone your thinking of, but the E700 is and always has been navy blue/silver.

The E710 has just been released and that is grey and silver but not black and yes the E700 is blue and silver! :)

the E710 has more features and some glitches from the E700 have been fixed on it, i personally wish i had waited a month so i could have an E710.

from what i have herd and seen it is excellent especially the fact that it has a screen on the outside used to take pictures too, that rocks:)
