Hi,
Does anyone know where i can get a converter so that I can use my discmans headphones on my SPV E200? The plug is too big to fit in my phone and the headphones that come with the handset are pants.
Thanks,
fatoaf

you can get an adapter from most audio stores or places like Dixons.
Normal headphones such as the ones on your Discman have a 3.5mm jack connecter, and the E200 has a 2.5mm jack, the same used on lots of mobiles. You can buy an adapter for around £1 from most small stores, but make sure you get a 3.5mm Female to 2.5mm Male connecter. If your not sure, ask someone in store.
However, they don't always work. My £1 adapter works, but you have to hold it half in half out. This is because, if you look at your SPV headphones connecter, you'll notice its slightly longer than most normal ones, which is because it has a microphone as well, where as normal headphones don't. So, in order to get the audio bit to work just right, you have to pull the plug out slightly to get it to pick the sound up, but it wont sit like that. Best thing to do is buy one, and if it does'nt work either take it back or keep it (not too expensive) and make do with the headphones providied.
Or, alternativley, buy another headset designed for another phone (most Panasonic ones should fit, and several others. Basicly most with the same connecter as yours, but its best to try it first).

thanks for the reply, i will try and get one this evening. its a shame that there isn't a convertor available that will fit snugly but i will try the 'half in' option anyway.
