Orange Better Not Delay 3G
Published November 2004

Here's The Scoop
(Source: The Inquirer) - Orange has admitted it will be offering an additional handset from Motorola but hasn't said which one. Which is fairly bizarre considering the other five are already featured on its Web site. Orange has, of course, being offering a 3G data service since July. And its Web site provides a clear indication of where you can expect to receive 3G coverage should you decide to buy a 3G for Xmas.
Well, considering there are already three clamshell devices in its line-up, The INQ would suggest that Orange needs another candy bar shaped 3G handset. So it could be the E1000 since that handset is already available on both Vodafone and 3. Alternatively it might go for the A1000 which would add a Symbian smartphone to its 3G voice range. Or there's the C975 which is presently exclusive on 3. Whatever happens Orange will need to launch this week, otherwise it's really going to miss the boat for festive handset buying.
